The gut, enzymes and poor nutrition in America

The gut, enzymes and poor nutrition in America

An enzyme is a type of protein found within a cell. Enzymes create chemical reactions in the body. They actually speed up the rate of a chemical reaction to help support life. The enzymes in your body help to perform very important tasks:

An enzyme is a type of protein found within a cell. Enzymes create chemical reactions in the body
All Roads Lead to the Gut
  • Amylase, produced in the mouth. It helps break down large starch molecules into smaller sugar molecules.
  • Pepsin, produced in the stomach and helps break down proteins.
  • Trypsin, produced in the pancreas, helps the digesting of proteins.
  • Pancreatic lipase, produced in the pancreas. essential for the efficient digestion of dietary triglycerides.
  • Deoxyribonuclease, breaks up extracellular DNA and ribonuclease that catalyzes the degradation of RNA into smaller components and are produced in the pancreas.

Enzymes as well as the purpose of vitamins, minerals and other supplementation are consumed and rendered useless by poor lifestyle habits, medications, environmental pollution, electromagnetic waves and daily stress.  It’s a near impossibility for the body to assimilate the full benefits of supplementation and enzymes when excessive sugar, junk food, chemically processed food, inability to control stressful situations and abuse of drugs and medicine take place.

The stomach is known as the second brain for a reason
Our health status is widely influenced by what we eat

The strength of Americans’ digestive systems contributes to either good health and a strong immune system or illness and obesity.  Drinking pasteurized milk from cows, deep fried foods, and constant bad nutritional habits are lethal to the body; and the more a person ignores the importance of proper supplementation the higher the possibility of being compromised by illnesses or conditions like insomnia, constant exhaustion, depression, diabetes, strokes, panic attacks, heart attacks and cancer.

Lifestyle Is Essential to Good Health

Our health status is widely influenced by what we eat. The stomach is known as the second brain for a reason.  Nerve cells in the gut that act as a brain. This “second brain” can control our gut all by itself.  It is often indicated that if there is something wrong with your digestive system, the probability of it leading to problems in another part of the body is very likely. And if you have problems with your health, then you should check your digestive system and evaluate your eating habit immediately. It’s very clear that our health, good or bad is about what and how we eat

Our two brains -- the one in our head and the one in our bowe
A Proper Lifestyle to Remain Healthy Includes Good nutrition and Daily Physical Activity

Our two brains — the one in our head and the one in our bowel — must cooperate. If they do not, then there is chaos in the gut and misery in the head — everything from “butterflies” to cramps, from diarrhea to constipation. Dr. Gershon’s work has led to radical new understandings about a wide range of gastrointestinal problems including gastroenteritis, nervous stomach, and irritable bowel syndrome. The Second Brain represents a quantum leap in medical knowledge and is already benefiting patients whose symptoms were previously dismissed as neurotic or “it’s all in your head.”

Based on the current poor health of the American people and the rising manufacturing of chemically processed food along with the wide and irrational use of excessive sugar in our foods it can be determined that such present practices attack the digestive system compromising its ability to properly perform and destroying any possibility to maintain good health and avoid weight gain and obesity.  This directly affects our ability to maintain a strong immune system and opens the door to major illnesses as I mentioned above.
