The media has people so confused and turned around about what nutrition really is, that it’s difficult to eat anymore without having a nutritionist, a trainer, an organic food advisor, a dietician, and of course by all means someone who debunks every reasoning you might have for anything that you might eat that is healthy.

We can only worry about those things we have control over. That being said, just stay away from anything you know has chemicals in it. Eat protein with every meal and complex carbohydrates to supplement it. If you are going to eat dessert, make sure that it is with ingredients that are organic and try not to nuke it. This being the first step, then you will slowly move to everything that keeps you healthy…hopefully. Just make sure that the body gets the nutrients necessary to function properly and you’ll be a happier person for that.

“Good skin tone, healthy muscles, less stress, end to irritability, etc. is accomplished through ‘good’ nutrition and supplementation, not solely through working out.” Hector Sectzer

People ask me why should I worry about trying to eat organic if pollution affects food crops, pesticides are used on crops, the ground that the crops are grown are contaminated, the water is contaminated, and the very air we breathe is harmful?

My answer to that is “don’t forget, earthquakes, tornados, snowstorms, a nuclear attack and Armageddon” … can’t worry about those things that I have no control over. All I can do is control those things within my power that I know will give me a better quality of life.  And let’s not forget that every journey must have a starting point…doing nothing is not a journey, it’s a self-imposed failure.
